Bazaar & Craft Show

All day family entertainment including: boat rides, hay rides, sheep dog demos, live music, puppet shows, silent auction, book sale, children's games, good food, colonial reenactment, and more. On the Common.

10 am - 4 pm

Sacred Harp Sing

Located in The Congregational Church Vestry on Route 5 in Newbury Village. The public is invited to participate. Admission: Free.

 

11:45 am

VINS Raptor Encounter

This first-hand encounter with live falcons, hawks, and owls focuses on the natural history, ecology, and adaptations of these efficient predators. Participants learn what adaptations make a bird a raptor. The Raptor Encounter is a great introduction to these specialized flying hunters. Touchable artifacts and hands-on materials round out this special experience. In the Village Hall on the Common.

 

1 pm - 3 pm

Canine Agility Course Demo

If you enjoy watching canine competitions on television, here is your chance to see a live demonstration, complete with bloopers, and try an agility course with your dog! The public is invited to bring their dogs (on leashes!) to this event. Watch the “pros” navigate the course; then run the course with your special pet under the guidance of an experienced handler!! On the Common.

Boat Rides on the Connecticut River

Van leaves the Common to boat launch every half hour. 10-4

Hay Rides up Mount Pulaski
